'NBA 2K17' Release Date: Fans Upfront About What Want to See in Next Iteration

"NBA 2K17" fans are already starting to talk about what they want to see in the game, especially since "NBA 2K16" reportedly did not meet most of their expectations.

2K Sports has reportedly started planning for "NBA 2K17" and the firm is aiming to spark the interest of gamers in the NBA video game. While its predecessor is still a remarkable game, fans have formed their own wish lists and the title may have fallen short of their set of expectations, according to The Bitbag.

Among other things, fans may want "NBA 2K17" to have a more convenient and less time-consuming player customization feature. So 2K Sports may want to work on a button that will automatically create a character, the report relays.

In addition, some fans may want to see more legendary players in the roster. Although the classic teams are great, the lineup could still use some more players and teams. The Bitbag also suggests making the game more fun by adding more classic teams and creating a feature that will allow fans to host matches between team.

Other things that players want to see in "WWE 2K7" are items such as Expansion of My Court, improved game tutorial, towel or water boy, My GM relocation, and player talks.

Meanwhile, the prices of "NBA 2K16" have dropped on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 due to a special sale on some games. The North American PlayStation Store has slashed a huge percentage off the price of some games such as "Deadpool," "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six," and "Trials Fusion," Master Herald reports.

Microsoft's "Deals with Gold" has also discounted "NBA 2K16" for Xbox One and Xbox 360, the report adds.

As of now, the fate of "NBA 2K17" is still uncertain as 2K Sports is currently embroiled in a lawsuit over James Lebron and Kobe Bryant's tattoos in the titles. More information on the upcoming game, including its release date, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
