NBA Finals 2012 Update: Oklahoma Thunder vs. Miami Heat Half Time Score 46-47 (Live Stream)

At half time in the NBA Finals 2012 Game 3 it remains a tight affair with the score Oklahoma City 46 Thunder Miami Heat 47, with the Thunder scoring a three pointer in the final seconds of the second quarter to bring us to a one point game at the half way point.

After the opening two games nothing could separate the teams and the series is currently tied 1-1. Again on Sunday night the game looks to be heading for a tight finish, with everything evenly balanced and neither side giving anything.

In the first two games Miami Heat stormed to an early lead, only for the Thunder to fight back in the second half of the game. However, Game 3 has seen a much more even affair in the first two quarters, with neither team being able to establish any kind of sustained lead against their opponents.

LeBron James has 16 points and 8 rebounds and is leading the way for the Heat, and they will be hoping he can maintain his aggression for the remaining two quarters of the game.

The Heat had threatened to begin pulling away by the end of the first quarter and led 26-20, but Oklahoma City Thunder refused to let the game go the same way as the first two games and kept themselves in toughing distance throughout the second quarter.

Prior to today's game LeBron James had said, "You can't stop KD (Kevin Durant), you just don't want to give him easy ones. You don't want to give him an easy dunk or give him a transition because you didn't communicate well. He can make every shot so you have to control everyone else. Russell Westbrook will make his shots because he's that of a talented player. You just try to make him score but not score because you had a breakdown or you messed up on something," according to NBA.com.

Kevin Durant himself said prior to the game, "We just have to play harder at the start of the games. The first ten minutes of the game we just relaxed and we have to play harder. It's tough to watch the film. You say, 'Did I just do that?' so we just have to start with a lot energy."

So far Durant couldn't have asked for much more and his team has rallied and have not allowed the Heat to establish any kind of substantial lead. If the Thunder can now impose themselves in the third and fourth quarters, Game 3 could go Oklahoma's way.
