After three years of courtship, Basketball Hall-of-Famer Michael Jordan is engaged to Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto.
News of the engagement, which was first reported by WCNC in Charlotte on Thursday, has been confirmed by Jordan’s publicist, Estee Portnoy, according to The Associated Press.
The Jordan, 48, and Prieto, 32, got engaged over the Christmas weekend but have not yet set a date, according to AP.
This will be Jordan's second marriage. The Charlotte Bobcats owner and six-time NBA champion divorced his wife of 17 years, Juanita Vanoy in 2006. The couple have three children.
Juanita was reportedly granted a $168 million divorce settlement, one of the largest publicly recorded celebrity settlements in history at that time.
