NBA News 2015: Dwyane Wade surpasses Dale Ellis' record for 50th in all-time scoring, Golden State Warriors remain unbeaten
Miami Heat superstar point guard Dwyane Wade recently put up a career milestone, while defending champions Golden State Warriors have managed to keep their unblemished record intact, so far.
According to a report by NBA.com, "DWade" surpassed retired veteran Dale Ellis for 50th on the NBA's all-time scorers list. Ellis scored a total of 19,004 points throughout his 17-year career, but on Saturday night, Wade officially bested Ellis when he logged in his 19,005th career point by sealing it with a free throw at the 3:10 mark of the second quarter in their game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Miami Heat did win the game with a score of 96-91.

In another report by ESPN, Wade finished the game with 27 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Meanwhile, defending champions Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in the 2015-2016 NBA season. According to a tweet by the team's official account, the Warriors now hold a 15-0 record after defeating the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.
The victory now has the Warriors matching the best start to a season in league history.
In another report by USA today, reigning Most Valuable Player Steph Curry describes his team's recent accomplishment has been a goal for quite a while already.
"It's a goal that's right here and now, and that's something that we want to experience," said Curry, who finished with 19 points and seven assists against Denver. "It would be a huge accomplishment, because obviously doing something that hasn't been done in the history of the league is special, but you never know if this opportunity will come back again."
"There's so many variables that go into winning this many in a row, especially at the start of the season. So we want to accomplish that, since we're here," he added.
The last team to ever put up a remarkable NBA regular season record was the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls team, who ended with a 72-10 win-loss slate.
