NBA Western Conference 2016 Predictions: Golden State Warriors Will Bag Game 3

Although the Oklahoma City Thunders stole a victory from the Golden State Warriors in the still unfinished Western Conference Finals, according to Bleacher Report, the same thing cannot be expected to happen once the two teams vying for her Western Conference Finals crown face off again tonight.

Apparently, the series is even with each team scoring a victory closer in their quest to emerge as a victor the Western Conference Finals. However, with the Warriors posting a plus-11.4 net rating through for their first two games, it is expected that they will give the Thunders a hard time repeating their earlier victory.

According to Bleacher, in the six games of Stephen Curry this postseason, the Warriors scored an average of 117 points every game, noting that Warriors point guard has adjusted his brand of game to be at par with the physical defense of the Thunders.

While it is true a stronger Game 3 performance from Westbrook is already expected to make the game further interesting, Bleacher is betting on the victory of the Warriors, thanks to Curry.

Rant Sports also echoes Bleacher's prediction that the Warriors will bag the Game 3 victory as Curry will step up his game in the last quarter. It points out that Steve Kerr must have already learned from the mistake it made in Game 1, where he let Curry unleashed his power early on, leading to the team's loss.

The sports blog site is also betting that the Thunders will continue winning the rebounding battle, noting that the Warriors are most comfortable when they are playing small. This, according to Rant Sports, gives the Thunders a huge size advantage if they field Steven Adams, Serge Ibaka and Enes Kanter.

As the Warriors are yet to lose back-to-back games this season, pundits believe that it is unlikely to happen during the Western Conference Finals. With the best coaching staff in the NBA in terms of making adjustments, the Warriors are predicted to be ready against anything like the Thunders threw at them during their first face off in the series.
