NCAA Final Four 2017 Prediction: South Carolina, Gonzaga Favored in April 1

April 1 will settle a ton of bets in this year's March Madness as the Final Four meets up in the 2017 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men's Basketball Tournament. The Semifinals for this year's Final Four will take place on April 1, when South Carolina matches up versus Gonzaga at 6:09 p.m. EDT, followed by Oregon against North Carolina at 8:49 p.m. EDT.

Oregon Versus North Carolina

The Oregon Ducks have returned to the Final Four for the first time since 1939, and they are making sure that this run goes all the way to the Finals in Phoenix, Arizona. After all, they're here to represent NCAA basketball from the West, as Tyler Ennis said: "We're not going to go out there and prove anybody wrong ... We just want to prove ourselves right, that we want to be the last team standing," Ennis said, as reported by NCAA.

Meanwhile, a red-hot North Carolina, hungry to avenge their last-year's buzzer beater loss at the NCAA title match, put away the Kentucky Wildcats in a similar fashion, with last-minute heroics from Malik Monk and Luke Maye.

What do players think of Oregon's chances? Bleacher Report thinks that North Carolina simply has more size, and that their height advantage opens up options for the team. Oregon will keep it close and competitive, but North Carolina will put them away with a 4.5-point spread, if the prediction by OddShark via Bleacher Report turns out to be accurate.

Gonzaga Versus South Carolina

Like Oregon, Gonzaga is eager to prove that NCAA basketball from the West is the real deal. Gonzaga's Nigel Williams-Goss talked about the team's coaches and fans: "I wanted to do it more for them than I wanted to do it for myself," said Williams-Goss.

The team comes prepared this year, and their players have been turning in a performance that warranted OddShark to give them a 6.5-point advantage over South Carolina, when they meet on Saturday at 6:09 p.m. EDT.
