'NCIS' Season 13 Episode 4 Spoilers and Episode 3 Recap: Vance and Gibbs Go Out in the Field; McGee and Bishop Went Undercover

On the next episode of "NCIS" entitled "Double Trouble," the official synopsis reads, "Vance partners with Gibbs and returns to field duty when a murder is connected to a former NCIS agent he locked up years ago for stealing evidence."

In the preview for the episode, it would seem that the fans will get to see Vance in action and working the field alongside Gibbs. The episode seems to involve Vance's past and it leaves the fans wondering where the rest of the team is. They will no doubt be running the back end of the operation.

In the promo for the episode, it seems that someone from Tony's past will come back, and the rumor is that Jeanne Benoit, Tony's lady love from the fourth season, will be back. There was also a rumor that Ziva would come back, but that was shot down by executive producer Gary Glassberg.

The last episode began with Bishop and McGee as they went undercover as a married couple. McGee kissed Bishop as she arrived and they both looked at their surveillance on the couple across the street.

A former contact of Gibbs called him, but the guy was found dead on a jogging trail at Quantico. At first it was thought to be an accident, until Ducky ruled it a murder. Tony chased down leads with Gibbs, and the team thought that it was connected to a robbery two years ago and a case that was already closed.

Gibbs and Tony interviewed a couple that was connected to the case who were definitely hiding something. Gibbs sent McGee and Bishop undercover across the street. McGee introduced himself to the wife, while Bishop got to know the husband at work.

The next day, Bishop entered the house alone, while McGee's cover was blown. The team discovered that the crime was about the money of the dead wife that she inherited. Tony discovered who his ancestor really was.

"NCIS" airs every Tuesday.
