'NCIS' Season 14 Spoilers: Apparent Suicide Turns Into a Murder Case ; Torres' Tough Stance Brings In Unexpected Results

New agents Torres and Quinn are here to stay as Torres settles in the D.C. area.

The dynamics of "NCIS" Season 14 definitely changed with the replacement of DiNozzo with two new agents, Nick Torres and Alex Quinn. The two new members of the team helped solved their first case in the second episode of the new season. The case involved a man who was murdered at his high school reunion.

Murder not suicide

In this week's episode of "NCIS" Season 14, Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) team will be solving a complex case according to the official synopsis. The NCIS team will be investigating the death of a marine sergeant from a mysterious fall from a multiple story building. On the surface, it looks like the sergeant committed suicide but further investigations done by the team suggest otherwise.

The team learns that the victim was seeing a doctor, Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo). She will tell Gibbs that her patient was murdered. At the risk of breaking the doctor-patient confidentiality, the doctor asks Gibbs to treat the case as a murder instead of a suicide say spoilers for the upcoming episode of "NCIS" Season 14.

Better and improved relationship

The upcoming episode will also feature Agent Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) as he searches for a place to live since he will be spending a lot of time in D.C. He will be getting a lot of advice from his new colleagues on what to look for in his search.

Nick will also be shown having an improved relationship with Gibbs compared to the earlier episodes of "NCIS" Season 14. Compared to that of Gibbs and Quinn's (Jennifer Esposito), their relationship seemed a little distant and cold. Fans remain hopeful however that Gibbs will be more amiable to Torres than was previously shown in the season.

Unique style and personality

In the previous episode of "NCIS" Season 14, Gibbs and the others were beginning to appreciate Torres' unique personality. He also was able to show that he was a genius when it comes to interrogating suspects. Torres' style may be different from Gibbs' but the results of his interrogation were better than expected. More than that, the rest of Gibbs' team were getting used to his tough attitude.

Gibbs and the parrot

The promo for episode 3 of "NCIS" Season 14 suggests that not everything will all be serious for the episode though. Abby (Pauley Perette) could be seen running around the orange room in the promo. She will be providing the humor for the episode with her pet parrot who manages to escape from his cage. The parrot is seen arguing with Agent Gibbs at the end of the promo.

The third episode of "NCIS" Season 14 will be aired on October 4, Tuesday. It is titled "Privileged Information".
