NeNe Leakes Bringing Kim Zolciak Pampers After 'Girl Talk'

Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak seem to be working on their rekindled friendship.

The two women made popular by "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" both Leakes, 46, and Zolciak, 35, have had a well-documented friendship on the reality television show. Although Leakes invited Zolciak to her upcoming wedding, the former also made it clear that she was not quick to label the pair as friends just yet.

However, it seems things are changing for Leakes who took to Twitter to let over one million followers know just how much she valued Zolciak.

"Just had the best convo wit ‪@Kimzolciak‬ hunni she cracks me up every time ‪#girltalk‬ on my way wit pampers (SIC)," Leakes tweeted.

Zolciak seemed to reciprocate the feelings responding, "I stay lmao w/ u (SIC)."

Before her tweet, it seemed that Leakes was not quick to get too close to Zolciak with whom she had a strong bond.

"What Kim and I did was let the past be the past and agree to move forward," Leakes told Extra last year. "I just think the word 'friend' is a very strong word."

However, Zolciak seemed to view her friendship with Leakes a bit differently last year.

"I do talk to NeNe, which is I know surprising to a lot of people. But we've had a long chat and we're in a really good place," Zolciak told "Extra" previously. "She matters more to me I think than anyone [on the show] because we were friends before 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.'"

Zolciak left "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" in the middle of the fifth season. Last year Zolciak opened up about wanting to continue her bond with Leakes beyond reality television.

"NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track," Zolciak told In Touch Weekly last year. "We were friends long before RHOA, and we will be friends long after RHOA if it's up to me."
