Nene Leakes' Feud With Wendy Williams Heats Up at Women's Empowerment Seminar in Atlanta
The feud between Nene Leakes and Wendy Williams has gotten bigger as the reality show star and the talk show host had an encounter at The Ultimate Women's Expo at the Georgia World Congress Center this past weekend.
Both ladies appeared at the expo, that was billed as "the nation's largest event designed for women" in Atlanta. It was the first time the former friends were in the same building since the Bravo star vowed never to appear on Williams' talk show in July 2013.
On Sunday, May 3, when Williams and her entourage arrived at the venue, they realized that her dressing room was next to Leakes', according to the Daily Mail. Her husband/ manager Kevin Hunter then reportedly demanded the event organizers to move Leakes to another dressing room, a source close to the website says.

"Kevin was adamant that he wanted his wife nowhere near Nene. He told them to move her as far away as possible," the source said to Daily Mail.
Both ladies were registered as keynote speakers, and it was reported that Williams took the stage first at 1 p.m. to do a keynote address to the thousands in attendance and talked about "ten rules every woman should live by."
She was followed by Leakes at 1:45 p.m., who reportedly greeted the cheering crowd saying, "I'm your homegirl! I live my life as an open book and I'm happy I don't need ten rules to live by!"
This allegedly set Williams' husband off and according to the eyewitness, he stormed the stage and was cursing, and yelled for the organizers to get Leakes off the stage and to cut her mic off.
As Hunter began to storm up the stage steps, Leakes best friend Diana Gowins allegedly jumped in and confronted him. The two was said to have exchanged heated words before Hunter went back through the curtains to cut Williams' book signing short so they could leave right away.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" on Sunday night, Leakes confirmed that something did happen earlier that day, saying, "I didn't even see Wendy or her husband today. But a lot happened backstage with her husband, I heard. Just because I was onstage, he went completely crazy, I heard."
