Netherlands vs Australia Live Stream Free, ESPN TV Start Time: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online

Australia will play the Netherlands on Wednesday as both teams compete in their second group match of this year's World Cup 2014 tournament in Brazil. The game is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream (details below).

This is a must-win game for Australia after they lost their opening Group B game to Chile 1-3. However, they are coming up against a team in blistering form that smashed reigning World Cup and European holders 5-1 in their previous game last week.

Australian team coach Ange Postecoglou is also tasked with having to shake up his defense after Ivan Franjic suffered a hamstring injury. It is likely that central defender Ryan McGowan will move into the vacant right back position as cover.

The fans back in the Netherlands have suddenly raised their expectations for the team following their rout of Spain. However, they are trying their best to keep their feet on the ground despite emphatically gaining revenge for losing in the World Cup final to Spain in 2010.

Australia will be looking to star player Tim Cahill as their inspiration to get a result today to keep them in the tournament. They enter this match up knowing another loss will see them be the first team eliminated from the World Cup, and their third game against Spain would be a dead rubber for them.

Today's game will be the first time that Australia and the Netherlands have played each other in a World Cup, and Holland will be massive favorites. However, in their past three matches against one another Australia are the team with the edge, winning one and drawing two of those three games.
