ACS Checkpoint offers the ability to scan both incoming and outgoing attendees and provides detailed information on each person

ACS Technologies the leading information management solution provider for churches, schools and faith-based organizations, has recently released ACS Checkpoint™, its new check in/check out application as an addition to its people information software, ACS People Suite software package.

ACS Checkpoint offers the ability to scan both incoming and outgoing attendees and provides detailed information on each person. Designed for both self and staffed checking in and out, can add security and accuracy for managing group classes and activities. It can be effective, for example, when monitoring the activity of children.

Users can scan a barcode, search by the last four digits of a phone number, or enter the user’s last or first name. Once checked in, the user can print a security badge or name tag in numerous designs. There is also an option to enter notes that may be printed on the security badge.

“ACS Checkpoint is great for keeping tabs on children, making sure that they're accounted for when they arrive and when they leave,” says Rebekah Gibbs, project manager for ACS Checkpoint. “And, with the ability to enter notes, it helps keep better track of any individual's needs or concerns. It's an advancement that adds to the safety of our clients and their families.”

“These days, there's no such thing as too many safety measures,” Gibbs adds. “After receiving a lot of client feedback on the desire to keep better track of younger members' comings and goings, we designed this new product to help families be more confident about having everyone accounted for.”
