Fox's hit TV sitcom "New Girl" Season 4 seems to never run out of surprises for its avid fans in terms of casting and interesting stories.

A report from the Hollywood Reporter indicated that this week's episode titled "Panty Gate" will see a slew of guest stars while the show's main characters are in for some issues that will interest the viewers.

For one, there's Jess (Zooey Deschanel) who decides to call herself a "love doctor," and then there's also Ernie "Coach" Tagliaboo (Daman Wayans Jr.) who faces a "life-changing decision" with May (Meaghan Rath).

The synopsis for the upcoming episode which was posted on The Futon Critic also indicated that Schmidt (Max Greenfield) will take the fall for Fawn (Zoe Lister Jones) with regards to a political scandal that he was in.

Meanwhile, Latin Post published details for the 22nd and the final episode of the current season which is said to feature singer Taylor Swift who will take a brief guest spot.

The pop icon's role will tie "into all the romantic developments in the season finale, which goes down at Cece's wedding."

The report meanwhile teased that at least "one core couple" will end up together. Will it be Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess or Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt?

For those wondering what comes next after season 4, TV Line confirmed that "New Girl" will be returning for yet another exciting chapter which, according to rumors, will accommodate Deschannel's real-life pregnancy.

"New Girl" Season 4 episode 21 airs this Tuesday, April 28 while episode 22 will be on May 5, only on FOX.
