New Steam Games 2017: AAA Games To Be Released In October

The list of new games for the month of October 2017 has been released on Steam.

According to reports, a number of highly-anticipated titles will be released this month. It includes "Assassin's Creed: Origins," "Middle-earth: Shadow of War," as well as "The Evil Within 2."

Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is the 10^{th major installment from the "Assassin's Creed" franchise that comes after the 2015-released "Assassin's Creed Syndicate." It is expected to be released in different parts of the world on Friday, Oct. 27.}

On the other hand, "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" is another action role-playing game that was developed by Monolith Productions under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This is a follow-up of the popular "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" based on the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's literary works "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit." The game is slated for release on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

The third-person survival horror video game "The Evil Within 2" is also believed to be coming to Steam this month, after game developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda Softworks revealed that it will be shipped worldwide on Friday, Oct. 13.

Aside from the AAA games, Steam will also release several up-and-coming indie games for the month of October. It includes the "Battle Chasers: Nightwar" that is reportedly inspired by some of the classic console role-playing games that were released in the past. The game is expected to be released on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The horror game "Inmates" is also believed to be released on Friday, Oct. 6. It is expected to feature a lot of claustrophobic environments and scary images that could make it as one of the scariest indie game for 2017.

Fans of platformer games are expected to enjoy the 3D game called "A Hat in Time," which features the story of a girl who is tasked to stitch new hats to level up her new abilities and retrieve Time Pieces for her adventures. The game is also slated to release on Friday as well.

All new games can be purchased and downloaded on Steam this month.
