New Year's Eve 2013 Ball Drop Live Stream: Watch Online Times Square Countdown From New York (Fergie, Brandy)

New Year's 2013 is set to take place with the countdown to a huge celebration being prepared as millions across the nation and world look to see in the New Year. In New York's Times Square a million are expected to gather to watch the New Year's ball drop live, and millions of others will watch on TV and online.

The iconic New York City ball drop event can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Record crowds are expected to gather in New York as the iconic illuminated ball decorated with doves representing this year's theme of "Let There Be Peace," waits to descend on revelers welcoming in 2013.

The New Year's Eve ball is scheduled to be raised at 6 p.m. ET and will begin its iconic descent at 11:59 pm ET.

Every major television network is airing coverage of the ball drop in Times Square and many more outlets will be streaming the event online.

ABC is planning nonstop coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET, with a special two-hour event to featuring Brandy, Flo Rida, Karmin, OneRepublic, and Pitbull.

The ABC show will be hosted by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and Jenny McCarthy.

Those brave enough to venture to Times Square to watch the ball drop should be aware of certain street closures and security procedures as all bags are subject to search along with a no re-entry policy.

People wanting to enter Times Square below 41st Street should enter through 37th Street at 7th Avenue or Broadway and 39th Street.

Those who find themselves above 43rd Street will be able to enter at 49th street from both 8th and 6th Avenues. People will also be able to enter at 52nd 54th and 55th streets from 8th and 6th Avenues as well.

An estimated 1 million people in Times Square will stand shoulder to shoulder to watch the ball drop, in addition to millions watching on television from around the nation. Organizers also revealed that as soon as the ball welcomes in the New Year one ton of confetti will be released over the revelers in Times Square.
