NBA All Star Weekend 2015 Schedule, Game Start Time, Preview, TV Channel Details: All-Star Weekend Hits New York

NEW YORK -- The Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center will host this year's NBA All-Star Weekend.

The respective home courts of the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets will open their doors to the thousands of NBA fans from around the world who want to experience the league's mid-season classic.

The action will kick off on Friday night at the Madison Square Garden with the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at 7 p.m on ESPN.

Kevin Hart, who won the last three celebrity game MVP awards, will once again take centerstage in this event along with the Knicks' superstar Carmelo Anthony and big fan Spike Lee, who will coach the East and the West teams.

The hardcourt action will then shift to the Barclays Center at 9 p.m. with the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge, which will be televised on TNT.

The match that features some of the NBA's future hotshots will take a different route this time as 10 Americans will face off 10 foreign young guns.

On Saturday night, the All-Star Weekend returns to the Barclays Center for a display of skills, stroke, and hops in the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

The TNT-televised event will begin with the Degree Shooting Stars as Chris Bosh, Dominique Wilkins, and Swin Cash will vie for a three-peat of the event against the teams respectively led by Stephen Curry, Paul Millsap, and Russell Westbrook.

The Taco Bell Skills Challenge will take place next to be followed by the Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, where Curry returns together with "Splash Brothers" partner Klay Thompson. Capping the event will be the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

On Sunday, the Barclays Center will host the NBA D-League All-Star Game at 2:30 p.m., where 20 D-League standouts will try to impress the NBA scouts for a better chance to get call-ups to the big lead. The match will be aired on NBA TV

The All-Star Weekend will culminate at 8:30 p.m. at the Madison Square Garden with the annual NBA All-Star Game pitting the best players from the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. TNT will televise the game for the 13th straight time and 30th overall.
