The New York Giants will take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday with the Giants trying to consolidate their position at the top of the NFC East and make their final push to ensure they claim a playoff place.

The game is scheduled to start at 4.25 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Giants have allowed their NFC East rivals to catch them up in recent weeks as they have experienced a drop in form.

Coming into these Week 14 games the Giants were only a game ahead of the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys, with the Giants on 7-5 and the two other teams on 6-6.

Meanwhile the Saints are clinging onto dreams of a playoff spot by a very fine thread and lie third in the NFC South with a record of 5-7. If they lose today that will probably be the end of their hopes of making the postseason for another year.

However, if they can gain a win today against last year's Super Bowl champs it will be the perfect medicine to make a final push to see out the rest of the season with a string of wins.

This game should be a fantastic one for both sets of fans as well as neutrals, with both teams having explosive offenses with fast receivers. Both teams are also capable of running the ball powerfully too, making this an intriguing match up.

The Giants, as always, will be led forward by Eli Manning, who has re-found his form. The ever-reliable Manning will be facing off against the formidable Drew Brees, who has thrown for 3,674 yards and a massive 31 touchdowns so far this season.

Brees will be hoping to connect well with Marques Colston who has gone 828 yards for eight touchdowns this season.

Meanwhile, Manning will attempt to level that threat by providing Victor Cruz with enough exposure to devastate the Saints' secondary. Cruz has gone for 883 yards and eight touchdowns this season so far.

If the Saints lose today their season is over, where as if the Giants lose today the NFC East will be blown wide open in a three-horse race.
