New York Giants vs Washington Redskins Live Stream, Preview, TV Schedule
The New York Giants and the Washington Redskins have one of the most colorful existing rivalries in the league, and whenever they play each other, it just looks like there always is something big at stake. This time, the team that wins this Sunday afternoon's football affair will be sitting on top of the NFC East division.
New York has the Redskins' number, at least this season. The Giants won the first time they met in Week 3 and it makes sense if one should bet for them in this crucial matchup. However, there's no underestimating the Redskins who still can pull off an upset.
It really won't be much of a help if this game's outcome will be based on their previous outings simply because they both were defeated by undefeated and elite teams.
By looking at the NFC East standings, no team actually has a record that's above .500. While, both the Eagles and Cowboys no longer have a fight in them with sorry records, the Redskins and Giants are still going at it. Should the Giants win, they'll grab a two-game advantage. But because they actually have beaten the Redskins in a previous match, another victory means that they'll obtain a 2.5-game lead.
Washington actually wasn't really projected to be a winner in this division. But if they win, they'll have a tighter grip of the division, especially that their next game will be against the lowly Cowboys who recently announced that Tony Romo is out for the rest of the season. Should they lose though, it'll be an uphill climb to the postseason.
Eli Manning should be a crucial factor heading into this game since the Redskins aren't a known defensive team. But Washington is one of those that can pull off surprises any given day.
