New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers takes place on Tuesday night in the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Game 2, with the Knicks looking to pull the series back level having lost Game 1 last week. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Knicks did reasonably well to put 95 points past the Pacers – the league's best defense – on Sunday night. However, it was not enough as the Pacers came out on top in a 102-95 victory at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks will be desperate to claim the win today to avoid going 2-0 down, which will be tough to come back from. They will need Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith to be on at the top of their game tonight if they are to come out with the win.
The Game 1 loss will have concerned Knicks' fans and players, as they had home advantage, but were still unable to capitalize on the home crowd. Anthony scored 27 points on 28 shots, but was bottled up by Paul George's tight defense. He was forced to contest the rim with Roy Hibbert instead.
The Pacers showed a surprisingly good offense on Sunday night in Game 1, scoring 102 points with all five scorers managing double figures.
Roy Hibbert certainly lived up to his billing as the NBA's best interior defender in Game 1, and if he maintains that level of form tonight then the Knicks could suffer and be in trouble.
Hibbert stifled the Knicks' offensive moves again and again throughout the night, and the Knicks will have to change up their game plan somewhat if they are to break through tonight.
