The New York Knicks and the Memphis Grizzlies face off on Friday night with two of the best-performing teams of the season so far clashing in an intriguing match up. The game will tip off at 9.30 p.m. ET and fans can watch online through free live stream (details below).

The Knicks come into this game with a record of 6-0 and are the only unbeaten team left in the NBA. The Grizzlies are not far behind the Knicks and also have an impressive record of 6-1.

It is the best start to a Knicks' season for nearly two decades and the team will be trying to equal their 7-0 start to the season way back in 1993. In that year the Knicks went on to make an NBA finals appearance, and they will be hoping to replicate that feat this year. If they win tonight they will also go 4-0 on the road, which would be their best away record since 1996.

However, the Knicks have a big challenge ahead of them tonight. The Grizzlies have not lost in 14 straight regular season home games. Memphis are also off to their best ever start to a season; after losing their opening game 92-101 to the Los Angeles Clippers, they have won six straight games - most recently claiming an impressive 107-97 win on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Knicks will come into this match up with a big feel-good factor in their team. With their amazing 6-0 start to the season, as well as the manner of their last win, they will be confident in taking on any team right now. In their last game against the San Antonio Spurs they were down by 12 points at one point in the fourth quarter, but stormed back, showing great character to claim a 104-100 win.

That game marked the first time the Knicks had given away 100 points in a game all season, but to coach Mike Woodson it was one of the most pleasing performances of the season so far against a strong NBA team.

Woodson said in the aftermath of that game, "It shows me this team is for real."

Many critics have been trying to ignore the Knicks' perfect start to the season, but with each new win more heads are turning. Tonight will be another game that will turn a lot of heads if the Knicks can claim a seventh straight win. The Grizzlies are arguably one of the most difficult opponents to go on the road against in the league right now, and they recently claimed back-to-back wins over last season's NBA finalists - marking their own credentials for a playoff run this year. Memphis defeated Miami 104-86 on Sunday, before going on to win 107-97 at Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

This should be a fantastic game to watch for fans of both sides as well as neutrals. New York Knicks vs Memphis Grizzlies tips off at 9.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
