New York Knicks vs Phoenix Suns takes place on Sunday in the NBA, with the Knicks looking to improve on their recent record against the Suns. Since Amare Stoudemire joined the Knicks the team has lost two of three to the Suns. The game is scheduled to tip off at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Stoudemire will miss this match up though, out with a knee injury. If the Knicks can win without him today they will improve upon their perfect home record to 7-0.

This could be a good time to take on the Suns, who are coming into this game on the back of two straight defeats.

The Suns are struggling this season and enter the game with a 7-10 record, where as the Knicks are doing well with a record of 11-4. It is the Knicks' home record that has allowed them to hold such a good record at the start of this season, and with six wins and no losses so far at Madison Square Garden it is their best start there since 1992-1993, when they won their opening nine games of the season.

Carmelo Anthony has said, "The Garden is known when it's rocking as one of the toughest places to play so we want to bring that back. For us to just keep that going and protect that home court is big," according to the Associated Press.

The Suns are 2-7 on the road this season, and have the league's worst defensive record, allowing 102.5 points per game on average.

The Knicks have had a fantastic November, and will be looking to maintain that momentum into December with a win today.
