New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins Live Stream Free: Watch NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Online Game 2 (NBC Start Time)

The New York Rangers will play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday night in their NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs series. The Rangers will look to take firm control of the series with another win today, having won Game 1 earlier this week. The game will start at 7.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through free live stream (details below).

The Rangers will look to go 2-0 up in the series with another win tonight, however, the Penguins will know how important it is to tie up the series to 1-1 in today's game so that they can travel to New York not being 0-2 down.

History is on the side of the Penguins, as they have never lost to the New York Rangers in a Playoff series. They have not only managed to get the better of the Rangers in the postseason, but they have basically wiped the floor with them.

In Playoff series they are 4-0 against the Rangers, winning in 1989, 1992, 1996 and 2008. Combined across the four series they have won 16 games compared to the Rangers' 4 prior to this year's match up.

However, the Rangers have gotten their noses in front by claiming Game 1 and that is a perfect start for them as they try to rewrite and slightly rebalance their Playoff record against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby has been praised by most as the NHL's best player this season. However, he seemed to struggle a little in Game 1, and many are claiming that he is playing through an injury in this series. They will hope he can get back to his best tonight and help to bring the series level again at 1-1.
