Following Apple's usual schedule in iPhone development, the new generation smartphones for this year should more or less look like their 2014 counterparts. However, there will definitely be some additions, changes and improvements. And so in a report, it seems Apple is eager to get things going in terms production.

Based on a recent report by GSM Arena, the Cupertino manufacturer began production for the new iPhone earlier than expected. The tip came from a Bloomberg report, stating that Apple has began producing the parts and pieces for the iPhone 6s, and probably the iPhone 6s Plus, both of which will make their debut in September.

So what do we know about the upcoming iPhone 6s? Based on previous rumors, the device will pack a USB Type-C port. If you're paying attention at what Apple has been doing this year, it announced its thinner MacBook 2015 that boasts the same technology. It would not only make charging faster, data transfers would also be quicker for compatible devices.

In addition, the upcoming iPhone 6s is tipped to get Apple's famed Force Touch technology, which enables the user to assign different operations and functions to a variety of pressure levels on the phone's touchscreen display.

Finally, word got out that Apple will be using a new kind of aluminium that is stronger than what the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus currently have.

Last year, several videos surfaced showing iPhone owners bending their smartphones whenever enough pressure was applied on specific points of their devices.
