Nexus X for Pre-Order on Major Wireless Carriers at End of October
Google unveiled the Motorola Nexus 6 (or Nexus X) alongside the HTC-made Nexus 9 and the Android Lollipop earlier this month. While the Nexus 9 tablet is already up for pre-orders and the Android L is prepping to come to other Nexus devices, the Nexus 6 will be ready for pre-order on major American wireless carriers on Oct. 29 later this month.
Without a contract from the carriers though, the 32GB Nexus 6 will be priced at $649 while the 64GB variant will be at $699.
Among those who will be offering the phablet on pre-orders later this month will be Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, and T-Mobile. It would seem that this will be the first Nexus smartphone which will be offered by the aforementioned carriers as previous Nexus versions did not share the same treatment.

While there are no announcements yet from the carriers on how much the Nexus 6 will cost, they are already preparing for the pre-order period with dedicated pages for the Nexus 6.
Sprint has already put up a webpage for the phablet as well as AT&T. T-Mobile on the other hand is doing the same but they are offering a sign-up for anyone who wants to be notified when the handset is ready for pre-order. As of late, there has been no move from Verizon Wireless and US Cellular.
After the pre-order period, the phablet is set to be shipped out to those who ordered a some one week after.
The Nexus 6 will be coming out with the following hardware specifications.
A 5.96-inch AMOLED QHD touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with a quad-core 2.7GHz processor, an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear facing camera, and will be running on Android Lollipop. Unfortunately, the Nexus 6 does not come with a microSD card support.
