Nicole Kidman has sold her Condo for $16 million to an unknown buyer, it has been reported.
The actress' Manhattan apartment, located on Perry Street, has been owned by Kidman for nine years but she has now decided to sell on. It has been noted that the apartment was previously on the rental market with an asking price of $45,000 a month. However, it finally sold on July 10 for $16 million, according to The Real Deal.
The 12th floor condo is reportedly 3,785 square feet and has three bedrooms and a view of the New York Harbor. It is located in the hugely popular Richard Meier building that attracts numerous celebrities including fellow Australian actor Hugh Jackman.
According to reports Kidman purchased the building in 2003, but was upset by a new building on Charles Street that ended up blocking her view of the Hudson River. In an effort to move Kidman and husband of six years Keith Urban bought a penthouse suit in West Chelsea in 2011 on 200 Eleventh Street. Since then they have been looking to rent out their Richard Meier apartment. However, they have now ended up selling the apartment for a healthy profit.
Kidman is said to be delighted with her new apartment, which cost $10 million, and allows residents to ride in their cars up an elevator and park in their own private garage adjacent to their own apartment.
Kidman and Urban have other properties in Nashville, as well as Sydney, Australia.
The Australian actress was recently seen in London where she attended the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony and saw Queen Elizabeth famously parachute into the stadium.
