Singer and recently fired judge on 'X Factor,' Nicole Scherzinger, has reportedly reunited with her ex boyfriend, British racing driver Lewis Hamilton.

The pair was spotted holding hands following a late dinner date in Los Angeles earlier this week, DailyMail reported.

The former lead Pussycat Doll split from Hamilton in October citing a need to focus on her career. Now that her stint on the FOX singing competition show has ended, the pair have seemingly picked up where they left off.

After the break up, Nicole, 33, revealed to the Mirror that she still had feelings for Hamilton, 27. "I still love him," Scherzinger told the U.K. paper. "It's all very recent and it's hard for me to talk about it."

A source told The Sun the two are trying to take things slow now.

"It's early days. They've been talking things through. They don't want things to move too fast," the source said.

In late January, news broke that FOX was making some cuts to 'X Factor,' with Scherzinger and host Steve Jones at the top of the chopping block. A FOX insider told MSN Entertainment that Scherzinger, along with judge Paula Abdul and Jones were being cut in an effort to revamp the show and increase ratings.

"They survived this year, but it didn't really work. So they've figured they have an opportunity to fix it. They expected Paula to be the goofy girl, and Nicole to be the pretty one. But Paula was so bad that it made none of it work," the source said.

Scherzinger had expressed a desire to move on from the show long before the surprising announcement was made. During an interview with RadarOnline after the show's first season wrapped, the former Pussycat Doll revealed she would dedicate the next year to her music career.

"Next year for me, it's about my music," Scherzinger said. "This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me. I didn't expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process."

Scherzinger and Abdul received death threats from angry viewers in early December following the elimination of singer Drew Ryniewicz, a fan favorite on the show.

"I'm used to being on stage and performing and singing for people and people cheering for me. I am an artist first, not a judge first," the singer and dancer told RadarOnline. "The reason my album hasn't come out yet is because of The X Factor. It's been so time consuming."
