'No Man's Sky' Release Date Unconfirmed, Listed on Amazon UK for High Price

Hello Games recently announced that No Man's Sky will only have a digital release on PlayStation Network. Amazon U.K., however has listed a physical release of No Man's Sky at a shocking and unexpected high price -- £46.85. That translates to around $73.

"No Man's Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy ... The night sky was filled with more stars than you've ever seen, and we've all thought that this is exactly where videogames would go, videogames that contained the whole universe, and you'd be able to visit it all. No Man's Sky takes that jump," the developers stated.

When it was unveiled two years ago at the 2013 VGX gaming conference by showcasing an interesting gameplay trailer, it had been voted by some critics to have the "Best Original Game" and "Best Independent Game." The idea was that players will be able to explore 18 quintillion life-size planets which was made possible through algorithms.

The journey of No Man's Sky starts out on an undiscovered planet. From here the player assumes complete control about where to go from the infinite, mind-boggling possibilities. A player can choose various settings for his chosen adventures. He or she can jump right into multiple universes or stay in place and explore more. The players can also take another course – go deep into the backdrop itself and investigate.

Sean Murray, co-creator of No Man's Sky, said that the possibilities are endless for the truly open world.

"We are attempting to do things that have never been done before. No game has made it possible to fly down to a planet, and for it to be planet-sized, and feature life, ecology, lakes, caves, waterfalls, and canyons, then seamlessly fly up through the stratosphere and take to space again," he told The Guardian.

No Man's Sky should become available during second half of the year for Playstation 4 and PC.
