NVIDIA Shield Winter Sale Now Over, Spring Sale Could Be Coming Next

Last year's NVIDIA Shield Spring Sale took place in March

Over this past weekend, NVIDIA Shield owners could take advantage of some deals on different games courtesy of the Winter Sale.

Numerous titles had their prices discounted as part of the sale, including the underwater exploration title known as "Abzu," the open world first-person shooter "Homefront: The Revolution," as well as the action role-playing games "Borderlands The Pre Sequel" and "Borderlands 2."

Unfortunately, that sale already wrapped up on Feb. 19, so gamers who were not able to take advantage of the deals presented during the weekend may have to wait for a bit longer before more deals are offered.

There could be some good news on that front, however, as there's a chance that yet another sale could take place not too long from now.

After all, with the winter season drawing closer to its conclusion, it may soon be time for the next seasonal sale.

Specifically, with spring nearly here, the emergence of this season may also pave the way for the arrival of new deals that NVIDIA Shield owners can take advantage of.

It is worth noting that a Spring Sale for the device already took place last year.

That previous Spring Sale began on March 24 and ran until the 28th. "Lego Jurassic World" had its price discounted by 66 percent during that Spring Sale, and the science fiction platformer "Rochard" was also offered for 50 percent less.

A Spring Sale for the NVIDIA Shield this year has not been set just yet, but people may start hearing more about it sooner rather than later.

For those gamers who may be wondering, there were also Summer and Fall Sales that took place last year, and those were held during July and September respectively.

More details about when the next seasonal sale for the NVIDIA Shield may be held and what titles will be offered then should be made available in the near future.
