NYPD Officers Are Targeted in 'All the News That's Fit to Click' Episode of 'Blue Bloods'
The next episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 6 is titled "All the News That's Fit to Click" and it is now the NYPD officers who are targeted. The episode begins with a reporter getting shot while going on a ride along with some police officers. He was wearing NYPD gear and Frank suspects that more NYPD officers are going to become targets for this shooter.
The official synopsis for this episode reads: "When newspaper reporter Lorenzo Colt (Zachary Booth) is targeted while wearing NYPD gear on a ride-along with Jamie and Eddie, Frank puts Danny and Baez on the hunt for the shooter who may be out for other members on the force. Also, Garrett contemplates taking another job."
According to Spoilers Guide, in the upcoming episode of "All the News That's Fit to Click," reporter Lorenzo Colt is on his beat. As part of his legwork, he has to go for a spin with NYPD officers Jamie and Eddie. Lorenzo is wearing NYPD gear. The shooter apparently mistakes Lorenzo for a NYPD cop and shoots him.

This shooting leads the NYPD force and Police Commissioner Reagan to come to the conclusion that Colt was not the actual target but that the shooter is aiming for NYPD Officers. But why? This episode seems to take a page out of real issues and current events around the country.
When Frank puts Danny and Baez on the case to investigate the matter, they hunt for the perpetrator by trying to get a lead on anyone who might have a grudge with the department or wants revenge on any of its officers.
One of the other sidestories of the episode is about Garrett, who is thinking of leaving the police force and trying some other job. Danny, in the meantime, did not fare well in the previous episode when he caught the serial killer but was beaten up by him. The serial killer escaped and tormented Danny over the phone, alluding that a kid might be next on his list. Will this episode reveal the serial killer?
