Abby Elliot marries screenwriter Bill Kennedy on Saturday
"Odd Mom Out" actress Abby Elliot finally got married in real life. The actress donned an elegant "Leanne Marshall" lace and tulle dress on her wedding day on Saturday. The ceremony was held at the church in New England, where she also had her first communion and where she spent most of her childhood religious memories. The ceremony was followed by a reception held at the bride's parents' home.
The lucky guy is no other than her long-time love, Bill Kennedy, whom she first met on the set of the Sex Ed movie. Kennedy is known for his screenwriting for House of Cards TV series. His previous works include" Life on the Line", "Sex Ed", and "American Odyssey".
According to People Magazine, Kennedy wore a custom blue linen suit crafted by Italian tailor Duca Sartoria.

The Wedding Details
The occasion was very intimate and personal. Two hundred guests were present during the ceremonies, as reported first by Martha Stewart Weddings. Some details added to their suits came from family ancestors and close-relative collaborations. For one, the bride's ring came from Bill's grandmother. Add to that, the groom's cufflinks and watch came from his great grandfather.
Meanwhile, Elliot's uncle made the menus and table numbers personalized through his calligraphy talent. Plus, her sister prepared a performance for the wedding reception.
Both the church and the reception venue were adorned with flowers. Kennedy's grandfather is gifted with an artistic hand. Thus, his artworks were incorporated with the floral sight.
It was later on learned that Kennedy proposed to Elliot inside their apartment in New York City by surprising his now-wife with flowers and candles.
How Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy met
Elliot shared the day they first met and revealed that they went out on a strip club on one of their shooting schedules. She admitted that Kennedy did not talk to her the whole time but bought her "lap dances".

"Odd Mom Out " is a series that tell of tales of very rich moms residing in the Upper East Side of New York City.
The finale episode contained Brooke – Elliot's character – and Lex getting a wedding vow renewal ceremony which was eventually interfered by Joy Green (Molly Ringwald), in her comeback as the "littering woman" of the series.
The series' Season 2 finale aired on Monday, two days after Elliot's wedding.
