Charlotte Bobcats vs Oklahoma City Thunder takes place on Monday night in the NBA, with the Thunder clear favorites to take the win on past match ups between the teams. However, the Bobcats are having a good season so far and will be hoping to claim a rare win against the Thunder tonight. The game starts at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Bobcats come into this game with a disappointing 1-7 all-time record against the Thunder – they have only claimed one win back in 2008. Since relocating from Seattle the Thunder have won all four games played at home against Charlotte.

However, this season has seen the Bobcats start with a 7-5 record, which is their best start in franchise history. Now is probably their best chance for years to travel to Oklahoma and claim an on the road win.

It's been a massive turnaround for the Bobcats from last season where they finished the season 7-59, which was embarrassingly the worst winning percentage in NBA history. This season they have already won seven and will be hoping to surpass their total last season wins with a victory tonight.

Their change in fortunes is in no small part to the hiring of coach Mike Dunlap, who has done a magnificent job. The team has also added a mix of veteran and young players such as Ramon Sessions, Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson.

The last three games between the teams have seen the Thunder destroy the Bobcats by an average of more than 20 points per game. The Thunder are currently second in the league in scoring, and they will believe they can win this one tonight. They will be high on confidence after beating the 76ers in their last game, with Kevin Durant scoring 37 points, and Russell Westbrook scoring 30. If they can perform as well tonight the Bobcats could be in trouble.
