Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies takes place in the NBA Playoffs Round 2 Game 1 on Sunday afternoon, with the Thunder looking to continue their run despite losing Russell Westbrook to injury. The game is scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Thunder successfully navigated their way past the Houston Rockets despite losing influential player Westbrook, in what some believe will be a season-ending injury.
Westbrook played in the first two games of that series, but left injured and without the star player after the injury the team only managed to go 2-2 against the Rockets. The Rockets were also not even at their strongest through that deadlocked part of the series too, with Jeremy Lin struggling with a bruised chest, and both Carlos Delfino and James Harden missing Game 6.
The Grizzlies have an arguably stronger and healthier side than the Rockets, and that may mean that the Thunder are in trouble here. They will have to raise their game despite the absence of one of their best players.
The Thunder certainly have the players needed to get through against the Grizzlies but it will be a tightly fought and close series, which is in no way guaranteed to go the Thunder's way.
