Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Oregon Ducks takes place in the NCAA 2013 tournament on Thursday in this second round match up for March Madness. The Cowboys will be favorites, but the Ducks will provide a stern test of Oklahoma's credentials for this tournament. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4.40 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Today's game will take place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and should be an intriguing match up.

Oklahoma State come into the tournament seeded 5th. However, they lost to Kansas State in the semi finals of the Big 12 tournament, after posting a disappointing 30 percent for shooting. In that game guard Marcus Smart managed 18 points and six rebounds, however, he went 6 for 17 from the floor.

Despite that result this will be the Cowboy's 25th visit to the NCAA tournament, although in recent years they have not had a good time. They have not gotten beyond the second round since 2005.

They come up today against the No. 12 seeded Oregon Ducks, who finished joint second in the Pac 12 regular season. The Ducks had the best overall record in the conference, causing an upset when they beat UCLA 78-69 in the tournament finale.

Carlos Emory and Johnathan Loyd will be big players for Oregon today. They scored a combined total of 39 points and four turnovers in the game against UCLA, and have proven they are players who can step up for the big games.

The winner of today's match up between the Cowboys and the Ducks will move to the third round to face the winner of No. 4 Saint Louis vs. No. 13 New Mexico State.
