'Once Upon a Time' Cast Rumors, News: Cruella De Vil Coming to Storybrooke
After the "Frozen" hype in the hit supernatural drama series on ABC "Once Upon a Time," Season 4, news about the TV show now points out yet another addition to the "OUAT" family.
TV Guide recently reported that the villainous character from Disney's "101 Dalmatians" Cruella De Vil is coming to Storybrooke.
Citing Entertainment Weekly, the media outlet said that Victoria Smurfit has been cast for the fur-loving character, and yes, she will be a villain on "Once Upon a Time."
The "Dracula" star even took to her social media to announce her official involvement in the hit TV program, although she later deleted the news.
"Super excited about playing Cruella for such an iconic show as @OnceABC," her Twitter post said.
It has been reported earlier that both showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis expressed interest in introducing Cruella, as part of their "wish list," within the 4th season of the show.
Firing up excitement, fans of the series speculated that the evil woman will come into the show as yet another missing aunt of the "Frozen" girls' Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail).
MTV meanwhile said that Smurfit as Cruella won't show up until the later part of the season.
"But her uncanny resemblance to both Elsa and her Auntie Snow Queen — as well as the tendency the show has to make everybody related — make it seem quite likely that she's the missing piece to this 'Frozen' puzzle," the site pitched in with their own theory.
