'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Air Date, Teaser Trailer Spoilers: Promo Video Shows 'Frozen' Character in Storybrooke

"Once Upon a Time" has released its new teaser for the show's upcoming season. The teaser shows "Frozen" character Elsa (Georgina Haig) walking through the town and leaving an icy trail wherever she goes.

The video starts out with a voiceover, saying, "This September, winter comes early … When the town of Storybrooke gets frozen over."

As Elsa makes her way across town, Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David/Charming (Josh Dallas) appear to be quite on edge, and Snow White is seen preparing to shoot the Queen of Arendelle with an arrow. Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) is caught off guard when his hook freezes over as Elsa passes by.

As she walks past Regina/Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison), the Evil Queen drawls "Here we go again …" Emma, quite flabbergasted at the newcomer's arrival, exclaims, "Really?"

Queen Elsa is not the only character from Disney's "Frozen" who will be joining the upcoming season of "Once Upon a Time." Elizabeth Lail will be playing Princess Anna, Scott Michael Foster will play Kristoff, Tyler Jacob Moore will play Prince Hans, and John Rhys-Davies will play Pabbie the Troll King.

Aside from the "Frozen" characters, another villain is set to make her comeback to Storybrooke. Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Kristen Bauer Von Stratten will reprise her role as Maleficent.

The actress is also known for playing vampire henchwoman Pam on HBO's "True Blood." Now that the show has ended its 7-year run, it remains to be seen whether "Once Upon a Time" will explore more of Maleficent's backstory. For now, there has been no confirmation if Bauer Von Stratten is back as a guest star, a recurring character or as a series regular on the show.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 will premiere on Sept. 28 on ABC.
