According to People magazine, the ABC program will now see Moore gracing the screen as Prince Hans, while Rhys-Davies will voice the troll king Pabbie.

The casting announcement was made just days after the sneak preview of the "Frozen" world was shown to fans at the "Once Upon a Time" panel at Comic-Con.

Fans of the show "Shameless" are most familiar with Moore for his role as Tony Markovich, while Rhys-Davies is well-known for his portrayal of Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Show creator Adam Horowitz welcomed the actors to the cast of "Once Upon a Time" with a message on Twitter on July 28.

"We're thrilled to welcome John Rhys-Davies to the #OnceUponATime family as the voice of everyone's favorite rock troll—Pabbie! #ThisFall!" he tweeted.

"Excited to welcome @tylerjacobmoore to #OnceUponATime as #Frozen's Hans. Hope you come meet him this fall is Season 4!" he added.

Other "Frozen" characters to appear on the show include Georgina Haig as Queen Elsa, Elizabeth Lail as Princess Anna, and Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff.

It has also been reported that Elizabeth Mitchell was cast in an undisclosed role. Horowitz and co-creator Edward Kitsis teased that her character could either be the evil Snow Queen or Elsa and Anna's supposedly dead mother.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 4 will air on Sept. 28 on ABC.
