'Once Upon a Time' Season 5: Actor Sinqua Walls to Reprise Role as Lancelot

The storyline for ABC's hit fantasy, supernatural TV drama series "Once Upon A Time," is about to get more interesting when it returns to the small screen for its upcoming Season 5.

Actor Sinqua Walls will be reprising his role as the gallant knight of the Round Table, Lancelot.

With the inclusion of other Camelot characters like King Arthur and Guinevere, it would be an obvious decision for the show to "revive" Lancelot in the forthcoming installment.

"Oh man, you can't go to Camelot and not see Lancelot," Edward Kitsis, the executive producer of "OUAT," told Entertainment Weekly. It remains to be seen if the character's reappearance will be set in the present timeline or merely in flashbacks.

As fans could recall, Lancelot was introduced back in Season 2 in a flashback wherein it was revealed that he was disgraced by his King because he falls in love with the wrong woman who is likely to be Guinevere.

He was allegedly killed by Cora (Barbara Hershey) who takes on his identity to escape the Enchanted Forest together with Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison).

Lancelot's dead body was never shown, so its unclear whether or not the character is still alive.

Meanwhile, casting call reports from TV Line indicated that the showrunners are looking for a "Latina in her mid-20s to mid-30s" to play the role of a "headstrong queen" Guinevere. Arthur's part is also said to be played by a "gent in his mid-30's to early 40s" with a British accent.

"Once Upon a Time" is slated to premiere its fifth season on Sept. 27 on ABC.
