One Direction's Lou Tomlinson Twitter Account Hacked?

One Direction member Lou Tomlinson's fans were once again alarmed over this Valentine weekend that their idol's Twitter account may have been hacked again.

According to a report on KpopStarz, Tomlinson's account profile picture reverted to the generic "egg" that first time users usually get before they change it into their own photo or image. But Tomlinson himself took to Twitter to "refute the rumor."

"Soooooo need a new profile picture cos the owner of the last photo was crying! Ha," he tweeted.

Fans even went as far as suggesting profile photos for him to use, but as of the report's publication, he still has not changed his picture.

The report also mentioned a Vine video that was spreading around the Internet over the weekend that reportedly showed Tomlinson shouting to a fan the following statement: "I am gay, it's pretty unfortunate, isn't it Eleanor?" which may have been connected to the suspected hacking.

This time, it was his fans who tweeted in Tomlinson's defense.

The first time hackers took over Tomlinson's account was in November 2013, when they posted an expletive message to his followers. Fans started unfollowing him, until he posted a sorry to fans, tweeting "Got woke up to find out I got hacked! Working on re-following people now sorryyyy :( Big loveeee!!"

In December 2014, Tomlinson and fellow One Direction member Harry Styles were also victims of e-mail hacking when a group of hackers went after celebrity email accounts including that of Beyonce and Adele. According to UnrealityTV, this was done by the same group of hackers who "infiltrated Sony systems."
