Since there has yet to be source material for the series, many believe that the upcoming season of "One Punch Man" will be canceled.

After the successful first season of "One Punch Man," there is a lot of anticipation for the second season of the anime series. While it was already confirmed, there are still no updates regarding the game, which leads to speculations that there might not be a future for "One Punch Man."

Fortunately, it was hinted that an upcoming event could shed some light on the fate of "One-Punch Man" Season 2.

Anime Expo Reveal

While there has yet to be  any news on the second season of "One Punch Man," some of those involved in the series will be attending the new Anime Expo 2016 on July 2 at the Los Angeles Convention.

According to the official website of Anime Expo 2016, the director of "One Punch Man" Shingo Natsume and voice actor of the anime series' lead character Makoto Furukawa, are expected to make an appearance on a talk show during the event.

No Source Material?

Even though it was announced that "One-Punch Man" Season 2 was already confirmed, there has yet to be a release date for the series due to the lack of material.

According to YouTube user ChibiReview, writer of the manga series Yusuke Murata is working hard to complete more additions to the manga. ChibiReview said that Murata is doing all he can to finish the new material for the next season.

It was mentioned that Murata is overworking himself to please fans. However, even when he finishes, fans will still have to wait for the animators to adapt the manga.

Speculations on Plot Details

Fan theories regarding what "One-Punch Man" Season 2 will bring have been abuzz. Some rumors indicate that Saitama could encounter three main villains, one of whom is Garou, a former student of Silver Fang. Though he was under a good mentor, he seemed to side with the villains growing up.The other villains One Punch Man could face are Lord Boros and Amai Mask.
