'One Punch Man' Season 2: Who Will Make Saitama Bite the Dust for the First Time?

Rumors about Saitama finally experiencing defeat in the second season of "One Punch Man" season 2 continue to persist although sources have varying claims about who will cream the bald superhero.

While there have been several rumors attached to "One Punch Man" season 2, there is no denying that the most persistent has been the one claiming that it will feature Saitama getting defeated for the first time. Despite this, sources cannot agree on who will deliver Saitama's first fall as there are numerous names alleged to do so.

Among the many names to whom Saitama will supposedly lose, one of the loudest recently is Sonic. While the said villainous character has yet to debut in the anime series, he has already been featured in the manga version of the anime series. As Sonic was trained by Shinobis and eats a Monster Cell, it is said that he is a force to be reckoned with and is likely to defeat Saitama.

Apart from Sonic, it is said that Saitama may also lose as he battles the Monster Association. With members of these villain group possessing god-like powers, the bald superhero may, indeed, lose easily.

Other sources also claim that Lord Boros, whom Saitama already defeated in the season 1 finale of "One Punch Man" will return to avenge his defeat. While the monster already disintegrated, it is said that he will regenerate and return to team up with other villains to make sure Saitama's defeat.

Garou, the former student of Bang, is also considered as a possible character to defeat Saitama. After all, the said villain has, supposedly, developed the ability to resist Saitama's iconic and powerful one punch.

As of this writing, it remains unclear if Saitama will finally lose in a match in "One Punch Man" season 2, and all rumors, no matter how convincing they may sound, should only remain as speculations that must be taken with a grain of salt.

Whether the anime series' plot will include Saitama getting defeated for the first time ever, the only way to find out is to wait for its release, which, unfortunately, is still a mystery for now as well.
