'One Punch Man' Season 2: Storylines to Expect

Seven months after it was confirmed at the Fall Festival event in Japan, "One Punch Man" season 2 finally enters production.

This was revealed in a magazine scan shared by Twitter user Ken Xyro. Not much can be gleaned from it except the announcement about the production underway.

There is no information yet on when "One Punch Man" season 2 will premiere though. If the production is just in its early stages, it might be a while before Saitama returns to the small screen. Waiting will be made bearable at least to those who follow the manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata. Volume 13 of the series will be released today as well as chapter 73.

Back in April 1, fans were treated with an extra chapter titled "Disaster Level," which is also included in the new volume of the "One Punch Man" manga.

Not counting this bonus story, the last time fans got new chapters of the story was way back in January so fans will definitely have something to devour while they wait for "One Punch Man" season 2.

A lot of epic scenes are storylines are expected to unfold in Saitama's return to the small screen. The bald hero is expected to finally meet his match — Garou, a former student of Silverfang.

Garou is so strong that he can hold off Saitama's punch, a feat that no one has ever achieved. While Boros managed to stay long in his fight with the yellow-clad strongman, it is due to his powerful armor that supplies his strength.

Garou does not use any form of shield or protection, so it would be interesting to see a showdown between him and Saitama in "One Punch Man" season 2. The new season will also see Saitama join a tournament and King's deep dark secret revealed.
