Operation Christmas Child to Assist Seven Million Hurting Children

With a platform of compassion and a campaign promise of hope, Operation Christmas Child is organizing rally support for seven million hurting children worldwide. At present time, Operation Christmas child is underway in the Austin, Texas area preparing shoe boxes with gifts and notes of hope and love for hurting children.

Local kids, families, churches, scout troops, schools, and civic organizations are hand-packing an estimated 20,000 shoe boxes with small toys, necessity items, candy, and letters of encouragement for children suffering from natural disaster, disease, poverty, famine, war, and terrorism.

Operation Christmas Child, a kids-helping-kids project that will use whatever means necessary—airplane, helicopter, boat, truck, even donkey—to hand-deliver gift-filled shoe boxes to hurting kids worldwide.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child—the world’s largest international children’s Christmas project—has hand-delivered more than 31 million shoe box gifts to suffering children in more than 120 countries.
