'Orange is the New Black' Season 3 Release Date, Cast News: New Characters Coming to Netflix Series
Although the exact date wasn't pointed out, fans were still happy to know that the popular jail bird drama "Orange is the New Black" will be returning for its brand new third season "sometime in June."
Rumors indicated that the season, which is reported to consist of 13 new exciting episodes, will premiere in a "mid-June 2015" date. But that information has yet to be confirmed.
For those who miss the updates, earlier reports stated that the new show will tackle more on "the characters' faith," according to Jenji Kohan and author Piper Kerman.

Speaking of characters, the story line surrounding Daya (Dascha Polanco) and Bennett (Matt McGorry) will get even more complicated with the coming of a baby.
"So, the situation becomes infinitely more complicated as time goes on. It's exponentially so in the strange love triangle of Pornstache, Bennett, and Daya -- or maybe a love rectangle if you include prison in one of the points as well," actor McGorry told Yahoo! TV.
Meanwhile, OINTB fans were also excited to find out that the new season will bring in a throng of new characters that will make the comedy-drama series even more colorful.
One of the most talked-about newcomers is Stella Carlin, who will be played by Australian model and DJ Ruby Rose.
Rose's character, according to Entertainment Weekly, is described as a person "whose sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield's inmates." She is touted to make the relationship between Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) even more complicated than what it is already.
Mike Birbiglia will also be joining the cast along with Mary Steenburgen. The latter will play the mother of the discharged Pornstache Mendez (Pablo Schreiber).
