Our Little Roses Ministry

Diana Frade, Founder and President of Our Little Roses Ministries in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, recently received an honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters form Berkeley Divinity School at Yale for her work 'empowering the poorest of the poor.'

Her work as a leader in women's rights in Latin America, her vision and leadership in the foundation of Our Little Roses Ministries serving girls, women and the poor of Honduras, has made a positive contribution in this part of the world.

Our Little Roses Ministries consists of three residential homes which includes twelve apartments for girls studying at the university, a bed and breakfast hostel on the grounds for visiting groups, a medical clinic, a bilingual school and a housing project for single mothers. In addition there is a computer laboratory that serves the residential program as well as children from the local public schools that do have the resources to provide computer studies.

Upon receiving her degree, Diana Frade acknowledged that she was receiving her doctorate in the name of all of the girls that had worked so hard and their commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ.
