The Iowa Hawkeyes and the LSU Tigers will fight it out for the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day 2014 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network, or online through free live stream (details below).

The Iowa Hawkeyes managed an 8-4 season, where as the LSU Tiger posted a marginally better record of 9-3.

Most believe that the Tigers should have this one in the bag, however, the Hawkeyes have really progressed massively over recent weeks, and if they can win the battle at the line of scrimmage then they could cause an upset.

This year's Outback Bowl 2014 is just the second meeting between these two teams ever. The team from the Bayou might have been expecting to get a bit higher than the Outback Bowl this season, but now they're here they will want to make the best of it. Where as the Iowa City team probably was not sure what to expect coming into this season and will be reasonably satisfied, and potentially delighted if they can claim the win today.

The first meeting between these two teams was as dramatic as you can get, and many will be tuning into this game hoping for something similar today.

LSU were clearly the team on top throughout in their last match up, and with just minutes to go in the 2005 Capital One Bowl and LSU leading 25-24, Warren Holloway suddenly was found in clear space and claimed a dramatic win for his team.
