'Outlander' Season 1: Claire Seeks the Help of the Monks to Rescue Jamie, Emotional Trauma Coming in Finale

Starz's hit TV drama series "Outlander" is now on its final run and according to spoiler reports, the finale episode titled "To Ransom a Man's Soul" will certainly see Jamie (Sam Heughan) getting rescued from the clutches of Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) but fans need to be wary of some other issues.

"Fear not, Murtagh's [Duncan Lacroix] plan to rescue Jamie is successful! But it isn't Jamie's survival that you should be worried about," wrote Entertainment Weekly. "For what this issue will be about, the site went on to say that "it's the emotional effects from the trauma he endured while with Black Jack."

The question now is: "Can he ever move on and once again be the husband that Claire deserves?"

The site went on to notify that avid followers of the show better "have plenty of tissues handy" for the upcoming finale segment.

Meanwhile, International Business Times shared a host of promo images for the season ender. In one of the photos is Claire appearing to be unhappy about something. The character was also shown talking with a couple of monks.

Followers of Diana Gabaldon's novels may already know that these pious characters will play a vital role towards the end of the story. As stated beforehand, Murtagh's plan for Jamie's escape will work out.

The difference however, the IBT noted, would be the location of the last scenes as the monastery in the books was located in France unlike from the TV show adaptation.

The rest of the images featured Angus (Stephen Walters), Rupert (Grant O'Rourke) and Willie (Finn Den Hertog) who appeared to be engrossed with their plans for the rescue mission.

"Outlander" Season 1 Finale airs this Saturday, May 30 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
