'Outlander' Season 1 News, Spoilers: 'Raw, Detailed, and Horrifying' Finale Scenes to Come

Starz's highly-rated hit fantasy TV drama series "Outlander" is now getting close towards its Season 1 finale but the intensity of events never seem to die down.

Although book fans may already have the knowledge as to what to expect in the next episodes, the TV Scoop segment from E! Online meanwhile said that it might exceed what they foresee.

"You might also think that if you read the books, you will be somewhat prepared. That is … not true," the site wrote. "I'm not going to spoil anything for you. But I do feel the need to warn you that whatever you are expecting, prepare yourself for ... more."

"Not only is it something that has never really been portrayed in this way on television before. But it is raw. It's detailed. It's horrifying and it is, at times, even hard to watch. It's also the kind of thing you cannot stop thinking about after the credits roll," the site continued.

The said "ugly" scene potentially involves Jamie (Sam Hueghan) getting raped and tortured at the hands of Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). But relief could soon follow after with "the most beautiful scene ever on TV," all of which will happen "within the span of an hour."

Menzies did told the publication that the scene will certainly make the viewers cringe.

"I think it will be as graphic, yes," the actor said. "I don't think we've ducked what Diana [Gabaldon] wrote, which is going to be some of the darkest stuff she wrote."

For the meantime, "Outlander" Season 1's penultimate episode is titled "Wentworth Prison" and will air this Saturday, May 16 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
