New casting update for the upcoming second season of Starz's hit TV drama series "Outlander" indicates the inclusion of one "Harry Potter" star who will play Mother Hildegarde.

A report from TV Line said that actress Frances de la Tour has joined the growing cast member's list as the commanding Mother Superior of Paris' L'Hospital des Anges.

The 70-year-old was known for portraying the Beauxbatons headmistress and half-giantess Madame Maxime in 2005's "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." She has also appeared in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" as well as on BBC One's TV show "Big School."

"Frances De La Tour is intelligent and commanding, which is why she'll make a great Mother Hildegarde! #Outlander," the show's official Twitter account announced the new casting update on Tuesday.

In "Dragonfly in Amber," the second book from Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" novel series which the TV show will be heavily based upon, Claire (played by Caitrona Balfe in the series) spends a significant amount of time in the hospital as a volunteer.

Sam Heughan, who headlines the role of Jamie, has offered some filming updates of Season 2.

From what he told with The Wrap, the shooting for the upcoming instalment are now almost wrapped up.

"We've been filming three episodes at the same time, the first three, so that's had its own difficulties, but it's been great. It's a very different world. We're in the French court, about as far as you can get from the highlands of Scotland," the actor said.

"There's some crazy new characters. It looks magnificent, the show looks incredible, and just trying to find where Jamie and Claire fit into that world, is exactly the kind of journey they're having," he continued.

"Outlander" Season 2 is slated to premiere later this year on Starz.
