In a behind-the-scene featurette released by the network on YouTube, the actress who plays Claire shares details about how she almost met an accident when the carriage she was in "nearly sort of did a one-wheeled swerve around a corner."

""The carriage just sort of slides over, goes up on one wheel, and pops the curb. All I could do was sit in the back and laugh, but it was kind of out of terror," the 36-year-old recounted in the video.

Meanwhile, the show shared a promo image of the two main characters, Claire and Jamie, this week.

Posted on their official Facebook page, Sam Heughan's character can be seen lovingly embracing Balfe's Claire from behind. It appears that the latter is somewhat sharing the same feeling with her husband as she let out a smile.

Judging from the details, it seems that the couple is still in love with each other despite the tragic events that happened to them in the first season.

Nonetheless, Claire and Jamie are set to face a new set of challenges when Season 2 opens. The most prevalent is their goal to try to stop the Jacobite rebellion in France.

Stay tuned for more updates.
