'Overwatch' News: Halloween Event Details and Start Date Revealed

Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, "Overwatch" has garnered the positive attention of the gaming community. The team behind the popular game title is hard at work to bring excitement, surprises, and treats to the fans. Recent reports have revealed that the "Overwatch" Halloween event is going to make a comeback this year after a successful run in 2016. New skins and costumes, as well as the release date of "Overwatch Halloween Terror", have been revealed.

Known as a team-based multiplayer online first-person shooter video game, "Overwatch" is not normally described as spooky. However, the developers have revealed that this is exactly how it is going to be for "Overwatch Halloween Terror" 2017. From Oct. 10 to Nov. 2, fans will be able to enjoy new Halloween-themed skins for McCree and Reaper. Furthermore, the Junkenstein skin might also be making a comeback.

During the event, players will be able to enjoy a co-op mode, called Horde mode, where they can group themselves into teams of four. The teams will then be subjected to enemy after enemy and the challenge is to survive and conquer. Moreover, fans are hoping to see a bigger roster of playable characters for the mode, as well as costumes for all their favorite characters who did not receive one from last year's event.
